BYU Provo Essay Zoom Call with Brooke Romney

This one hour video will help prepare your students to write their BYU Provo essays!

Brooke goes through each essay question and gives details about how to answer them most effectively. She gives creative ways to think about the questions that spark ideas that many students don’t consider and highlights each part of the question so nothing is missed. She then gives options for structuring each essay and the dos and don’ts for writing a compelling narrative. She goes over frequently asked questions and other helpful tips that spur ideas and optimal organization. The questions are BYU Provo specific, but many of the suggestions and tips are relevant to any college essay question.

She highly suggests parents watch the zoom recording so they can help their students brainstorm great ways to answer the questions. It’s always nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of and encourage the process.
